Epitome Therapeutics is an early-stage biotechnology company based in Vienna, focused on developing a next-generation epigenome editing platform to transform the way we understand and treat disease. We are seeking a motivated Research Associate (full-time) to join our team and contribute to the advancement of our core epigenome editing technologies. WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Design and execute experiments using epigenome editing, molecular biology, cell culture and genomics.
- Develop and optimise CRISPR-based engineering strategies, applied in tissue-culture screening platforms.
- Analyse, interpret, and present experimental results to progress towards (pre-)clinical goals.
- Collaborate with scientists and leadership to refine strategies and contribute to shaping the scientific vision of a young company with global ambitions.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- MSc in molecular biology, biotechnology or related field, industry / biotech experience is a plus.
- Expertise in molecular assays (e.g. qRT-PCR, cloning etc.) and cell-based assays (e.g. FACS).
- Experience with tissue culture and handling primary cells or stem cells.
- Knowledge within the fields of genome engineering (especially CRISPR / Cas9), genomics and epigenomics technologies (e.g. Cut & Run, RNA-seq etc.), and / or Lipid Nanoparticle based technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
- A flexible, entrepreneurial spirit - comfortable moving fast and adapting as we grow.

The yearly salary for the position is EUR 46.341,40 gross based on full-time (40 hours per week). Depending on relevant job experience and qualifications the remuneration can be negotiated.
