Summary
Location: Kundl, Austria.
The Quality Team Leader QC performs tasks associated with release testing and reviewing laboratory data, coordinating the team/lab under its responsibility, communicating with internal and external partners for the Quality Control organization.
About the Role
Major Accountabilities:
- Support transfer Projects and validation studies.
- Track team metrics and ensure KQI /KPI meet requirements.
- HSE incidents reporting and action follow up.
- Resource and capacity (people and equipment) planning and workload management.
- Ensure availability of equipment, chemicals and consumables, AS appropriate.
- Ensure training according to cGxP requirements.
- Ensure DI and compliance with cGxP and all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure activities executed according to cGxP standars planning, Collaboration in GxP audits/inspections.
- Ensure qualification /calibration status of analytical equipment.
- Coordination of departmental Operational activities.
Essential requirements:
- Scientific degree.
- +5 years of experience in a similar role within a GMP manufacturing environment.
- Proven leadership skills, leading teams of up to 25 people.
- Analytical mindset.
- Fluent in English and German.

In accordance with Austrian law, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is € 65,605.54 EUR/year (on a full time basis). We also offer a potential market oriented excess payment in line with your experience and qualifications.
The salary offered is determined based on gender-neutral objectives, such as relevant skills, competencies and experience in accordance with the Novartis pay setting policy and upon joining Novartis will be reviewed periodically.
In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for a performance-based bonus depending on certain performance parameters. Further details will be provided during the application process.
