Study Physician (m/f/d) - CardioRenalMetabolism TA
The position
Study Physician (SP) is a critical role within Clinical Development CardioRenalMetabolism (CRM) to establish readily available medical support and consultancy for clinical trials within CRM Therapeutic Area by a qualified and clinically experienced physician. Medical input for the clinical trial and being involved in the project/asset team by provision of state-of-the-art medical expertise with the aim to execute medical oversight and support in management of clinical trials during the preparation, conduct, and reporting phase of clinical trials. Study Physician is a core member of the Trial Team and member of the Evidence Network for the asset.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for end‑to‑end medical support throughout the entire study lifecycle, from Trial Design Outline kick‑off to the Clinical Trial Report
- Ensures high‑quality medical content of the Clinical Trial Protocol and contributes to other core trial documents, by collaborating closely with Clinical Trial Leader (CTL), Clinical Program Lead (CPL), Patient Safety Physician, and other cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Strong contribution to trial risk-based quality management from medical perspective, by defining medically relevant critical data/processes, related risks, and its mitigation/monitoring strategies. Takes medical responsibility for agile & adaptive medical data review including development of the Clinical Quality Monitoring Plan (CQMP) and defines important protocol deviations.
- Responsible for medical training for investigators and study team. Contributes to eCRF design, automated data checks, ICF, lab alerts, recruitment and retention activities, regulatory and ethics responses.
- Responsible to answer medical questions from Investigators, and contributes to adjudication and Data Monitoring Committee processes.
Requirements
- Physician (MD) (ideally with medical thesis), trained in a clinical setting, and minimum of four (4) years of active clinical practice experience; specialization in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Cardiology, Nephrology, Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine is desirable.
- Experience specifically in CRM Clinical Development is preferred. Experience in pharma industry or CRO in medical or project management functions (ideally in Clinical Development) is desirable.
- Ability to communicate directly and concisely while collaborating with key stakeholders, pronounced presentation and training skills. Capability to work proactively and with team spirit in an international environment and team.
- Pronounced analytical skills and systematic and well-structured working style.
- Displays the ability to use digital technologies to access information, be creative, innovative, solve problems, communicate, navigate, learn & apply in a digital environment.

The remuneration for this position starts at EUR 120.300 gross annual target salary per year (full time). The actual salary package depends on professional experience and qualifications. We will be happy to discuss further details in person.
