• Combine cutting-edge biochemistry and cryo-electron microscopy to tackle key open questions in human mRNA maturation.
• Conduct mechanistic studies related to human gene expression, focusing on mRNA transcription, processing, and nuclear export.
• Utilize available resources including on-site mass spectrometry, Cryo-EM (Titan Krios & Glacios), FIB-SEM, and compute-cluster.
• Engage in high-level collaborative research in an internationally recognized group.

Ihre Qualifikationen

• PhD degree in biochemistry or cryo-electron microscopy.
• Strong background in biochemistry, genetics, and molecular biology.
• Experience with cryo-electron microscopy techniques is highly desirable.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a research team within a dynamic environment.
